Fight Quest

The Ultimate Fighters meets Lonely Planet is the best way of describing the Discovery channels latest offering on Foxtel.

An immersive viewing experience, Fight Quest takes the audience to remote locations around the globe in search of a vast array of martial arts and cultural traditions. From Mexico to France, Kali to Kyokoshin Karate, they travel the globe in search of fighting and pain... and theres lots of pain.

Fight Quest hosts Jimmy Smith and Doug Anderson are no stranger to the fight game. Jimmy a King of the Cage fighter, and Doug Anderson an Iraq war vet with expierence in Muay Thai. Both hold nothing back in there search for the fighting experience, injuries and knockouts are a daily occurance. At the end of 5 days training with each art's master, they fight full contact with local fighters and champions. The result is very addictive viewing.

A double gloved thumbs from me, looking forward to season II. Definately the best program on TV at the moment hands down.
